Here is the short animatic for the film I am currently working on.

New Character Designs

This is a new character design for a personal project I am currently working on, however, it may contribute towards my final degree film if possible.

Directing Animation- 'The Blean' Animatic

Here is the animatic for the directing animation project 'The Blean', of which I am currently working on. The jolting cut in and out shots will be dolly shots in the actual film itself but due to technical issue I was unable to portray this in the animatic.

Plot:

Deep in a dense forest there is a tree unlike any other. The shoes that hang from the tree represent the different stages within a persons life. Each stage of life is plucked from the tree by a lone bird, who will then replace the plucked shoes with the next stage of life (e.g babies first shoes, replaced by babies first walking shoes)

However Due to limitations, the full plot may not be fully represented within the film.

I have re worked my storyboard, and I'm much happier with it now, the frames were far too distanced before. However, I'm still not sure if its quite there yet. Below are some more shots from the set production.

New Project

I am currently looking for new project ideas, which I will pursue in my on time. I love films that show a strong visual style as well as fantastic stories. One of my favorite examples of strong visual style in the film 'Nine' directed by Rob Marshall.
